The Cornish could always insult with style. A ‘tuss’ comes from the noun tozen – an erect bull’s penis. Now this can be a term of endearment – or a downright insult.

‘Oi, tuss – your round tight arse’ is much better than someone yelling ‘learn how to drive, ya tuss’ at you.
